Launch of Nirvana Memorial Park in Medan, Indonesia
In September 2017, we began offering sales for Nirvana Memorial Park in Medan, Indonesia.
Penang Nirvana Privatization and Key Shareholders
In October 2016, Penang Nirvana was privatized and delisted from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx). Tan Sri Kong Hon Kong, the founder of Nirvana, through his company Rightitan Pte Ltd, and CVC Capital Partners ("CVC") became the two largest shareholders. CVC is a leading private equity and investment advisory firm with a network of 24 offices across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., managing over US$33 billion in assets worldwide.
Strategic Expansions of Nirvana Asia Group
- February 2015: Nirvana Asia entered into a cooperation agreement with Huizhou Longyan to tap into the China death care service market.
- July 2015: Nirvana Asia made its first foray into Vietnam, expanding its reach in Southeast Asia.
- September 2015: Nirvana Asia expanded to Medan, the third-largest city in Indonesia, further broadening its presence in the region.
Nirvana Asia's Milestone Listing
On December 17, 2014, Nirvana Asia successfully listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
Expansion Highlights of Nirvana Asia Group
- August 2013: Began operating Blissful-Nirvana Memorial Park in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia, and Blissful-Nirvana Memorial Park in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia.
- December 2013: Established Nirvana Memorial Park (Thailand) to develop a cemetery in Thailand.
Expansion of Services in Penang
In July 2012, we began offering niches and related funeral service products at the Kek Lok Si Temple under the name Nirvana Memorial Park (Penang), Malaysia.
Privatization of NV Multi Corporation
In December 2010, NV Multi Corporation was privatized by NV Multi Asia.
Launch of Nirvana Columbarium in Singapore
In January 2009, we began our columbarium business in Singapore, now known as the "Nirvana Columbarium".
Opening of Nirvana Memorial Park in Johor
In September 2008, we commenced operations of Nirvana Memorial Park (Tiram) in Johor, Malaysia.
Launch of Nirvana Memorial Park in Shah Alam
In September 2007, we commenced operations of Nirvana Memorial Park in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
Opening of Nirvana Memorial Center in Johor Bahru
In the third quarter of 2005, we commenced operations of our Nirvana Memorial Center funeral home in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Launch of Nirvana Memorial Center in Sungai Besi
In September 2004, we commenced operations of our Nirvana Memorial Center funeral home in Sungai Besi, Malaysia. In November 2004, we introduced our "White Ladies" funeral service packages at this location.

- July 2003: Commenced operations of Nirvana Memorial Park in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia.
- August 2003: Began offering death care products and services, and started cemetery development in Karawang, Indonesia, through our 51% equity interest in PT Alam Hijau Lestari.
- September 2003: Started operations of Nirvana Memorial Park in Segamat, Johor, Malaysia.

In April 2001, we commenced operations of Nirvana Memorial Park (Kulai) in Johor, Malaysia.
Key Developments in 2000 for Nirvana Asia Group
- January 2000: Expanded into the integrated funeral service provider market in Malaysia.
- August 23, 2000: NV Multi Corporation was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia (then the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange).

In June 1991, NV Multi Corporation acquired Nirvana Memorial Park Sdn Bhd.
Development of the First Memorial Park
In October 1990, Tan Sri Kong and his business partner began developing our first memorial park, Nirvana Memorial Park (Semenyih), in the Semenyih District, Selangor, Malaysia, through Nirvana Memorial Park Sdn Bhd.
